Mind Lab is similar to Alex Crow’s very popular Dark Parlour. Alex is sat behind a table surrounded by loads of weird scientific and pseudo scientific apparatus. Think phrenology head, plasma ball, Victorian electro-shock therapy machines. The idea is that Alex Crow sets up in an area of the event with four chairs in front of the table. Great fun – very immersive and totally unique. People come up during the course of the evening to be entertained by demonstrations of ESP, telepathy, psychokinesis and other mind reading experiments.
“Everyone thought you were fascinating. You were certainly the best pre-dinner entertainment I have ever seen!” Sarah Fitzer (Gold Group International).
“Step aside Derren Brown, David Blaine get back in your box, because the show alone is enough to blow your mind!” Eleanor McGillie (Herald Express).

Extrasensory perception or ESP, also called sixth sense, includes claimed reception of information not gained through the recognized physical senses, but sensed with the mind. The term was adopted by Duke University psychologist J. B. Rhine to denote psychic abilities such as intuition, telepathy, psychometry, clairvoyance, and their trans-temporal operation as precognition or retrocognition.
Second sight is a form of extrasensory perception, the power to perceive things that are not present to the five senses, whereby a person perceives information, in the form of a vision, about future events before they happen (precognition), or about things or events at remote locations (remote viewing). There is no scientific evidence that second sight exists. Reports of second sight are known only from anecdotal evidence given after the fact. (Wikipedia)
